Fran, aka Frannosaurus Rex
I am a recent Illustration graduate. I have a pencil lead embedded in my little finger. I have a "tattoo" on my palm where I accidentally stabbed myself with an inky pen. I hope these will one day give me Magical Illustration Superpowers in much the same way as the spider created Spiderman. I will one day acquire a REAL tattoo.
I like: octopi, pirates, dinosaurs, folklore, fairy tales, legends, comics, illustrations, jewellery, Mario Kart, knitting, peacock feathers, crazy hair colours, doodling, Chinese food, pizza, thunderstorms, zombies, piercings, tattoos, sour Skittles, red shoes, big boots, skulls, forests, the sea, singing (badly), plushies, pygmy hedgehogs, dogs and so much more.

Illustration Friday :: 10.01.13 :: EDGE.
Immediately upon reading this past week’s Illustration Friday theme my mind jumped to my favourite books - The Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. If you haven’t read them what are you even doing here right now?
Specifically, I thought of Beyond The Deepwoods, where Twig ventures out to The Edge and meets the Gloamglozer. This doodle is based on the Gloamglozer; the boogeyman of the world within the books.

Illustration Friday :: 31.08.2012 :: “Identical”
A wolpertinger is a creature from folklore, generally depicted as a rabbit with fangs, antlers, wings and often a tail. This idea came to me pretty quickly with this week’s Illustration Friday topic.
This is an initial drawing, just scanned in and adjusted in GIMP. I intend to draw this digitally, and maybe add some colour. I am also tempted to add even more rabbits.
Materials: Unipin fine liners- 0.3, 0.1, 0.05
Time taken: Roughly 4 hours, spread over 5 days.
